Church is boring. Church is something kids have to go through like school in order to be well rounded adults. Church is where people who are desperate or weak go to get help. Church is judgmental. If we are going to stop just going to church and really understand what God’s plan for the church really is we need to go to the source – the very first time the word church is ever used. And interestingly enough, the first person to use the word church was Jesus.
